Pen Blanks (1930-50 circa)

The turner’s workshop has sourced the last batch, of vintage pen rod from two world renowned pen restorers.

These rods were made in the le mans area of France 80 to 90 years ago. 

The material can be seen on the finest vintage fountain pens of the world, Conway Stewart, mabie Todd, waterman’s, parker to name but a few. 

The blanks are made from cellulose acetate. 

The blanks are perfect for pen making after all this is what they were made for,

When using these blanks you are moving away from woodturning and getting into the realms of actual pen making.

Please make sure that the dimensions of the blanks are suitable for the pen/pen kit you are making.

The quality, depth of colour is unsurpassed even in the most expensive of today’s modern materials.

Once this material has gone, it is gone forever!
